Fields: what size are the fields?

Our 5v5 fields are FIFA Futsal regulated dimensions. Typically, we feature fields 85 – 90 ft in length, 50 – 55 ft in width, and 15 – 20 ft in ceiling height. Goals are 6 ft by 10 ft.

Player limitation: how many players can be on the field?

It’s up to you. Our fields are designed to play 5 against 5 (1 goalie and 4 outfield players) but you can play with less or more when you rent your field. Some groups come with up to 15 players and play quick round-robins.

Featured rule: what's the goalie box rule?

Only the keeper is allowed in the box and he cannot exit the box:

  1. Only the defending goalkeeper is allowed to play the ball inside the goal area and only he/she may handle the ball in this area
  2. A defending outfield player can enter his own goal area but cannot deflect/play the ball in his own goal area. If he/she does so, he/she will have a free kick awarded against his team
  3. An outfield player entering his opponent’s penalty area will be penalized. The game will be re-started from the goalkeeper
  4. A goalkeeper gaining or seeking to gain an advantage by leaving his area or by playing the ball when it is outside the area will have a free-kick awarded against his team

No pass back to the keeper:

  1. The goalkeeper has a maximum of 5 seconds to return the ball into play
  2. A teammate receiving the ball from the goalkeeper may not return the ball directly to him – the ball must first be touched by another teammate or an opponent
  3. A free kick will be awarded to the offending team from the place where the defending player returned the ball
  4. Goalkeeper cannot pick up or touch with his hands a back pass

Footwear & Attire: what do my kid wear?

Kids should wear a sports attire: a short/sweatpants, a comfortable t-shirt, and some sports shoes. It is possible to wear turf shoes, but this is not necessary.

Hours & Holidays: what time are the fields open? Are you closed on Holidays?

Generally, our centers are open from 9:00 am to 1:00 am on weekdays, and 7:00 am to 1:00 am on weekends. Some center may have different restrictions: please check our Facebook page or Google profile for exact opening and closing times.

We are generally open on Holidays as well, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day (closed all day). We close earlier on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve (6:00 pm) and open later on Christmas Day and New Years Day (4:00 pm).

Is there a limit to the number of participants?

No, it’s a true Open Play. We run on 4 fields which is perfectly comfortable for up to 120 players. The greater the numbers the better the atmosphere and stake for each game. Feel free to ask our staff how many players are already registered as you come in.

Can I come with more than 5 players?

No. We limit the groups to a maximum of 5 players. The concept of our pick up sessions is to meet new players. If you have more than 5 players we encourage you to look up our Adult Rental options.

The rescheduled date must fall between the league start date and the end of the regular season. a 1-week notice must be provided.

Time requests: games are generally played between 7:30 pm and 11:30 pm. Teams may provide a preferred time of play and we will do our best to honor that request. However, we don’t guarantee that it will be fulfilled. Ask our staff what the expected game times are before your register a team.

Holidays: we generally schedule games on Holidays (except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and NYE), but we are happy to working with you to reschedule games that would be scheduled on the other Federal holidays.
