15 Mar IMPORTANT NOTICE: TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SOFIVE
To Our Sofive Community,
Based on the ongoing spread of COVID-19 in the United States, and on the advice of public officials who are strongly urging social-distancing, we have made a decision to temporarily close all our Sofive facilities: Brooklyn (NY), Carlstadt (NJ), Elkins Park (PA), Columbia (MD), Rockville (MD), effective tonight at 01:00AM, March 15, 2020, and until further notice.
We regret having to make this decision but believe that, given the circumstances, temporarily closing is in the best interest of our community and necessary to responsibly respond to the COVID-19 health crisis in our city and nation. The health and safety of our staff, members and guests is our first priority. It is our view that this is the socially responsible thing to do and in the best interests of overall community health. We did not make this decision lightly and recognize the inconvenience it will cause our valued customers and members.
We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the recommendations of city, state and federal health professionals, with the hope of reopening as soon as possible. For updates regarding the closure, please visit our website, www.sofive.com/updates.
Please understand that we are doing our best to respond to the many questions of our customers and members. We will post an FAQ section on our website as soon as possible. We trust that you understand the necessity of our action, given the current health and economic crisis.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

UPDATE ON REFUND/CREDIT POLICY
In response to COVID-19 and based on recommendations of multiple public health officials, Sofive venues in both New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland were temporarily closed effective Sunday, March 15th.
As a result of closing our operations, we are in the process of managing inquiries from some customers regarding refunds and/or credits. Sofive has decided to assess all credits/refunds after June 30th. This decision was not easy, but we had to consider the significant financial impacts this health crisis is having on our employees, our customers, and our businesses.
Seeing that this major event presents unique and unprecedented challenges, we ask our customers for patience and understanding while we take the necessary time to formulate a clear and concise plan of action.
